Everything PairMention does, in plain language — including exactly what we can and cannot do with your X, GitHub, TikTok, YouTube or Instagram account, your wallet and your money.
What is PairMention
PairMention is a memecoin launchpad on Robinhood Chain and Base where the trading pair is a social handle: an X, GitHub, TikTok, YouTube or Instagram account. Anyone can launch a coin under any handle; it trades as TICKER / @HANDLE on a public Uniswap v4 pool from the very first second, and a fixed slice of every trade is set aside for the owner of that account — whether or not they have ever heard of us.
PairMention is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Robinhood, X, GitHub, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram or Uniswap.
How it works
- Launch. Pick a handle (an X handle, a GitHub username or a TikTok username), a name, a ticker and an image, pay the launch fee, optionally bundle an opening buy. In that one transaction the coin is minted, its Uniswap v4 pool TICKER/@HANDLE is opened, and the entire supply of 1,000,000,000 is deposited into the pool as locked liquidity.
- Trade. Buy and sell with ETH on the coin's page, or straight on Uniswap and any wallet or aggregator that supports Robinhood Chain. The price starts at 0.6 ETH market cap and follows the constant-product curve as people buy. The pool is visible on Uniswap, DexScreener and GeckoTerminal immediately.
- Earn. Every trade pays 1.5% — on the site or on Uniswap, the pool itself charges it. The fee is split coin creator / account owner / PairMention. Anyone can press Harvest; money only ever reaches those three fixed recipients.
- Claim. The account owner signs in once with the platform's own login (X, GitHub, TikTok, YouTube or Instagram), proves they control the account, and receives everything set aside for its handle — across every coin under their name, past and future.
The pair: TICKER / @HANDLE
Every handle gets its own quote asset, an ERC-20 called @HANDLE (for example @ELONMUSK). It is wrapped ETH: one @HANDLE is always exactly one ETH, anyone can wrap or unwrap at any time, and nobody controls it — there is no owner, no minting, no fee.
Coins under a handle are priced in that handle's token, so the Uniswap pool really is ELON / @ELONMUSK. On the site you never touch the quote token: the launchpad contract wraps and unwraps behind the scenes, so you pay ETH and receive ETH. A small @HANDLE/WETH reference pool is seeded once per handle from the launch fee so trackers can price the handle token in USD.
Platforms: X, GitHub, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram
Any coin can be paired with an X handle, a GitHub username, a TikTok username, a YouTube handle or an Instagram username. The contracts only know a handle: up to 15 characters of letters, digits and underscore. The three platforms are mapped into that space like this, and the mapping is fixed:
| Platform | On-chain handle | Quote token symbol | Username limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| X | elonmusk | @ELONMUSK | 1 to 15 characters: letters, numbers, underscore. Cannot start with gh_, tt_, yt_ or ig_. |
| GitHub | gh_torvalds | @GH_TORVALDS | Up to 12 characters. A hyphen is stored as an underscore and shown as a hyphen again. |
| TikTok | tt_mrbeast | @TT_MRBEAST | 2 to 12 characters: letters, numbers, underscore. Usernames with a period are not supported. |
| YouTube | yt_mkbhd | @YT_MKBHD | 3 to 12 characters: letters, numbers, underscore. Handles with a hyphen or period are not supported. |
| ig_cristiano | @IG_CRISTIANO | 1 to 12 characters: letters, numbers, underscore. Usernames with a period are not supported. |
GitHub pairs are stored as gh_ plus the username, TikTok pairs as tt_, YouTube handles as yt_ and Instagram usernames as ig_. The quote token symbol is the on-chain handle in capitals, so on Uniswap and DexScreener a GitHub pair reads @GH_TORVALDS and a TikTok pair @TT_MRBEAST. On this site the same pair shows as TICKER / @torvalds with a GitHub mark next to it. Pages, the vault and the pool are all keyed by the on-chain handle, for example /h/gh_torvalds.
Reserved prefixes. Handles starting with gh_, tt_, yt_ or ig_ are reserved for GitHub, TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. An X account whose @name starts with those three characters cannot be paired as an X handle. That is the cost of keeping the deployed contracts untouched. Every coin launched before this change is an X pair and works exactly as before.
Why the limits. GitHub allows usernames up to 39 characters, TikTok and YouTube up to 24 and 30, Instagram up to 30; only names that fit in the 15-character handle after the prefix can be paired today. GitHub never allows an underscore in a username, so storing its hyphen as an underscore loses nothing. TikTok, YouTube and Instagram allow both a.b and a_b (YouTube also a-b) as different accounts, so periods and hyphens are refused there instead of being folded into an underscore that could let one account claim another's fees.
Opening order. A platform opens for launching, sending and claiming all at once, the day its sign-in is live; until then it is shown but disabled. Open now: X, GitHub.
Claiming. Claiming works the same way on every platform: sign in with the platform's own login (X OAuth, GitHub OAuth, TikTok Login Kit, Google for YouTube, Instagram Login for Instagram professional accounts), and the server signs the same EIP-712 Claim for the prefixed handle. One claim per handle, ever.
Sign-in availability
- XliveSign in with X works today.
- GitHubliveSign in with GitHub is open.
- TikToksoonOpens once TikTok approves the app for the username scope (user.info.profile).
- YouTubesoonOpens once the Google OAuth app is verified for the youtube.readonly scope.
- InstagramsoonOpens once the Meta app is approved; Instagram only allows professional (business or creator) accounts to sign in.
Fees for GitHub, TikTok, YouTube and Instagram pairs accrue in the vault meanwhile, exactly like an unclaimed X handle. Nothing is lost, and there is no deadline to claim.
Liquidity: locked from second one
- There is no bonding curve to “graduate” from. The coin is a Uniswap v4 pool the moment it exists.
- The whole supply sits in one liquidity position owned by the launchpad contract. That contract has no function to remove liquidity — not the creator, not PairMention, not the contract owner. It is locked for the life of the chain.
- Only the launchpad can add liquidity to a PairMention pool (the pool's hook rejects everyone else), so the locked position always receives 100% of the pool fee and nobody can dilute the split.
- Sells can never push the price below the opening price — there is simply no liquidity below it — and buys always have a counterparty: the pool.
- Every coin's page links its pool on DexScreener, GeckoTerminal and Uniswap so you can verify all of this yourself.
V3: two pools per coin
Coins launched on V3 get two locked Uniswap v4 pools in the same launch transaction, each holding half of the supply at the same opening price:
- TICKER / @HANDLE, the pair the coin is named after. It is what the site shows and trades.
- TICKER / ETH, quoted in native ETH. Trackers like DexScreener price the coin in USD from it within minutes of launch, and every wallet or aggregator that supports Robinhood Chain can route into it without knowing the @HANDLE token.
Why: a tracker only prices a pair when it trusts the quote token, and @HANDLE tokens are unique per handle, so they were never priced. ETH always is. Nothing about the model changes: both pools are locked forever, both are opened only by the launchpad, both charge the same 1.5% through the same hook, and the fees from both go into the same creator / account owner / PairMention split.
Prices stay together by arbitrage (buying the cheaper pool and selling into the other is profitable until they match), and the site's own buy and sell split every order 50/50 across the two pools so they never push the pools apart. PMRouter does that split; it holds no funds and has no admin. buyPool / sellPool hit one pool for arbitrage.
Coins launched before V3 are labelled V2 on the site. They keep their single TICKER / @HANDLE pool and keep trading, harvesting and claiming exactly as before; only new launches use V3.
Fees, exactly
| Source | Rate | Who receives it |
|---|---|---|
| Launch fee (once) | 0.0005 ETH | PairMention (0.0002 of it seeds the handle's reference pool, once per handle) |
| Pool fee, every buy and sell, anywhere | 1.5% | credited to the locked position, split below on harvest |
| → coin creator | 0.50% | the wallet that launched the coin (0.25% on coins launched before 13 Sep 2026 — the split is fixed per coin) |
| → account owner (X / GitHub / TikTok) | 0.75% | held in HandleVault until claimed, then paid directly |
| → PairMention | 0.25% | treasury (0.50% on the older coins) |
| Opening anti-snipe fee | off | the pool can charge a decaying opening surcharge; currently switched off (0%) |
The split is written into each coin at launch and can never be changed for that coin. PairMention's share is hard-capped at 50% of the fee in code and the fee itself at 5%; changes only affect future coins. Fees earned in coins (from sells) are converted to ETH inside the pool when harvested.
For account owners — is claiming safe?
Yes. Here is precisely what happens, and what cannot happen.
Signing in with X, GitHub, TikTok, YouTube or Instagram
- It is the platform's own standard login: X OAuth 2.0, GitHub OAuth, TikTok Login Kit, Google (for YouTube) or Instagram Login. You type your password on x.com, github.com, tiktok.com, accounts.google.com or instagram.com, never on our site.
- We request read-only access and receive only four things: your user id, your username, your display name and your avatar URL.
- We cannot post, reply, like, follow, read your messages, read your repositories, or change anything on your account. The permission screen shows exactly this.
- We keep nothing in a database. Your identity lives in a signed cookie in your own browser for up to 7 days; no access token is stored after sign-in. Sign out any time.
- You can revoke our app at any time: x.com → Settings → Security → Connected apps; github.com → Settings → Applications → Authorized OAuth Apps; TikTok app → Settings → Security → Manage app permissions; myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party access; Instagram app → Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites.
Connecting a wallet
- Connecting a wallet only tells the page your address. It gives PairMention no control over your funds.
- The only transaction you sign is claim(handle, deadline, signature) on the HandleVault contract. There are no token approvals, no “unlimited spend”, nothing that touches your existing balances.
- The claim links your handle to the wallet you are using. Choose a wallet you control long-term (a hardware wallet is fine). You can change the payout wallet later with setWallet.
- Nobody — not the creator, not PairMention, not the contract owner — has any function that can redirect your share elsewhere. It goes to the vault, and from the vault only to the wallet that proved ownership of your handle.
- If your wallet ever cannot receive ETH (some smart wallets), your share simply keeps accruing in the vault and you can withdraw it later; nothing is lost.
You are never obligated to claim, and a coin under your handle does not mean you endorse it. Your share waits for you on-chain indefinitely.
Send ETH to any handle
The vault that holds every account owner's trading fees has an open deposit(handleHash): anyone can put ETH under any handle. /send is a front end for exactly that call. Type a name on X, GitHub, TikTok, YouTube or Instagram, pick the chain, send. PairMention takes nothing; you pay gas only.
- Not claimed yet: the ETH accrues under the handle next to the trading fees. The owner signs in once with that platform and receives everything in one transaction. It waits indefinitely.
- Already claimed: the vault forwards your ETH to the owner's wallet inside your own transaction. If that wallet cannot receive (a contract that rejects ETH), the amount accrues and the owner withdraws it later; it can never bounce to anyone else.
- Who can take it: only the wallet that proves ownership of that exact account through the platform's login. Not PairMention, not the contract owner (whose only power over the vault is rotating the attester key), not the sender.
- Per chain: each chain has its own vault, so a transfer on Base is claimed on Base. Send on the chain you hold ETH on.
- Irreversible: the vault keys funds by the hash of the handle. ETH sent to a misspelled or non-existent name has no owner who could ever claim it, and there is no admin path to recover it. The send page shows the profile link and asks you to confirm.
- ERC-20: the contract also accepts tokens (depositToken); the site only offers ETH for now.
Every transfer is a public Deposited event, listed on the handle's page with the sender and the transaction. The same page has a share card that says how much is waiting, made to be sent to the person.
For coin creators
- No sign-in. You pay the 0.0005 ETH launch fee plus gas; an opening buy can be bundled into the same transaction so you get the first tokens at the opening price.
- You receive 0.5% of every trade, forever, wherever it happens (coins launched before 13 Sep 2026 carry 0.25%; each coin's split is fixed at launch and shown on its page). You can change your payout wallet with setLauncher.
- Selling on the site is a single transaction (EIP-2612 permit) — no separate approval.
- Anyone can press Harvest on your coin — it just moves fees to their fixed recipients. If your wallet cannot receive ETH, your share is parked and you can pull it with withdrawOwed.
- Your coin is on Uniswap from the first second. Share the contract address (CA) from your coin's page — it is the only official one.
Security & trust model
Rules that are enforced by the contracts themselves, not by us:
- A coin's fee split can never change after launch.
- The account owner's share can only reach the wallet that proved ownership of that handle.
- One claim per handle, ever; the claimed wallet can re-point payouts, nobody else can.
- The launchpad has no function to remove liquidity or move pool funds. Harvesting is permissionless because every recipient is fixed.
- Only the launchpad can open PairMention pools or add liquidity to them (enforced by the Uniswap v4 hook), so the fee split can never be diluted by a third party.
- The hook never touches balances — it only sets the pool fee — so the pools are ordinary Uniswap v4 pools to every router and wallet.
- No party can block another's payout: sends are gas-capped and never revert a harvest; undeliverable amounts are parked for their owner.
- @HANDLE quote tokens are plain wrapped ETH with no owner and no admin.
- No custody. The site never holds funds or keys. Launches, trades and claims are transactions you sign yourself.
- The contracts are not upgradeable.
| Who | Can | Cannot |
|---|---|---|
| Anyone | launch under any handle; trade here or on Uniswap; harvest; tip a handle | redirect any share; touch pool liquidity; add liquidity to a PairMention pool |
| Coin creator | change their own payout wallet | touch the owner's or PairMention's share; pull liquidity |
| Account owner | claim once; change their wallet; withdraw accrued | — |
| Attester (server key) | sign a 10-minute claim authorization after X / GitHub / TikTok login | move funds; claim for anyone (your own transaction is required) |
| Contract owner | set treasury; set fee/split/opening-price parameters for future coins (fee ≤ 5%, treasury ≤ 50% of it); pause new launches; withdraw launch fees; rotate the attester | change an existing coin; block trades, harvests or claims; withdraw pool liquidity or trade fees; upgrade code |
Status: the contracts have a full automated test suite run against the real Uniswap v4 contracts on a mainnet fork (locked single-sided liquidity, fees charged on site and direct Uniswap trades alike, quoter accuracy, anti-snipe, harvest split including coin-side fees, permit sells, deferred payouts, hook permissions, claims). They have not yet had a third-party audit; we say so plainly rather than imply otherwise.
Contracts
Chains: Robinhood Chain and Base. The same contracts are deployed on each; a coin lives on the chain it was launched on, and each chain has its own vault (an account owner claims once per chain). Each coin has its own token, quote token and Uniswap v4 pool, all linked from its page. Anyone can call buy, sell, harvest or claim directly on-chain without this website, and trade the pool through any Uniswap v4 router.
Risks
- Memecoins. Coins carry no rights and can go to zero. Every trade costs 1.5%.
- Permissionless pairing. A coin under a handle does not imply the account owner's involvement or consent. The site labels every handle unclaimed until its owner claims.
- Thin liquidity. A coin opens at a 0.6 ETH market cap; prices move a lot on small trades early on.
- Reference pools are small. The @HANDLE/WETH pool exists so trackers can price the handle token; it is not a place to trade size.
- Not affiliated with Robinhood, X, GitHub, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram or Uniswap.
FAQ
Nothing is required of you. 0.75% of every trade on it is being set aside for you on-chain. Claim it whenever you like — or never.
No, and the site says so on every page. Claiming your fees is not an endorsement either.
No. The launchpad contract that owns every pool position has no function to remove liquidity, and nothing can move a handle's share anywhere except to the wallet that proved ownership of that handle.
Yes, from the launch transaction. Every coin page links its pool on Uniswap, DexScreener and GeckoTerminal; the pool id and the PoolManager address are listed under On-chain.
Yes. The 1.5% is the pool's own fee, charged by Uniswap on every swap no matter who routes it, and it is credited to the locked position that the harvest splits.
The contracts keep working. Buy, sell, harvest and claim can all be called directly on-chain, and the pools keep trading on Uniswap; nothing depends on this website.
Only to know where to send your share. The claim transaction is signed by you, costs a few cents in gas, and contains no approvals.
The claimed wallet can change the payout address with setWallet at any time. Claim with a wallet you will keep.
Yes — then you earn both the creator share and, after claiming, the owner share.
Yes. Pick the platform on the launch page and type the username. On-chain the handle is stored as gh_, tt_, yt_ or ig_ plus the username (a GitHub hyphen becomes an underscore); on the site it shows as @username with the platform's mark. Names up to 12 characters (YouTube at least 3) without periods or hyphens can be paired today.
That is the on-chain name. The quote token symbol is the handle in capitals, so a GitHub pair reads @GH_TORVALDS there and @torvalds here. Same pool, same fees, same claim.
