1. What PairMention is

PairMention ("we", "the site") is a website that lets you interact with a set of public, permissionless smart contracts on Robinhood Chain. Those contracts let anyone launch a memecoin whose trading pair is a social handle (an X, GitHub or TikTok account), trade it on a Uniswap v4 pool, and let the account owner claim a share of the trading fees.

The site is an interface. It never holds your funds or your keys. Every launch, trade, harvest and claim is a transaction you sign yourself in your own wallet. If the site disappeared, the contracts would keep working without it.

PairMention is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by X, GitHub, TikTok, Robinhood or Uniswap.

2. Who may use it

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to use cryptocurrency services where you live.
• You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including tax obligations. Do not use the site where doing so is prohibited.
• You are responsible for your wallet, its keys and every transaction you sign.

3. Coins, fees and risk

• Coins are memecoins created by third parties. They carry no rights, no claim on anyone, and no promise of value. They can go to zero.
• Every trade pays a 1.5% pool fee, split on-chain between the coin's creator, the paired account's owner and PairMention. Launching a coin costs a launch fee. Current numbers are on the docs page.
• Prices shown on the site are estimates read from the chain and public price sources; the transaction you sign is what counts.
• The contracts have not had a third-party audit. We say so plainly in the docs. Use the site at your own risk.

4. Pairing with a handle

• Anyone can launch a coin under any handle. A coin under a handle does not mean the account's owner is involved, endorses it, or has heard of it. The site labels every handle "unclaimed" until its owner claims.
• Launches are on-chain and permissionless. Nobody, including us, can remove a coin from the chain. We can hide a coin from the site's lists.
• The account owner's share of fees is held in a contract until the owner proves control of the account and claims it. One claim per handle, ever. Claiming is optional and is not an endorsement.
• Handles are namespaced on-chain (GitHub as gh_, TikTok as tt_). Some usernames cannot be paired because of the on-chain length and character limits; the launch form tells you when.

5. Signing in and claiming

• To claim, you sign in with the platform's own login (X, GitHub or TikTok). We receive only read-only public profile data and issue a short-lived signed authorization for the wallet you connect. See the Privacy Policy.
• The claim binds the handle to the wallet you use. Choose a wallet you control. You can change the payout wallet later on-chain.
• Do not sign in with an account that is not yours. Attempting to claim someone else's handle is a breach of these terms.

6. Content you upload

• You may upload a coin image. You must have the right to use it, and it must not be illegal, hateful, sexual, or infringe anyone's rights.
• We may remove or replace an image on the site at our discretion. The image URL written on-chain at launch cannot be changed by us.
• Names, tickers and descriptions are written on-chain by you and are your responsibility.

7. No advice, no warranty, limited liability

Nothing on the site is financial, legal or tax advice. The site and the contracts are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PairMention and the people behind it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or the contracts, including losses caused by bugs, blockchain behaviour, wallet problems, third-party services (X, GitHub, TikTok, RPC providers, price sources, trackers), or your own transactions.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the effective date at the top changes when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: @PairMention on X.
